Other information about our organization	Equity Trust is interested in preserving farms that stay in active farming and will be affordable to future farmers. We also want to protect the farmhouses and barns in addition to the land. We have developed a model lease and model easement, with commentaries, that are available on our website. We provide land tenure counseling, financing and some land stewardship services. We have helped in the preservation of Caretaker Farm (MA), Roxbury Farm and Peacework Farm (NY) and Cold Pond Community Land Trust and Dimond Hill Farm (NH); as well as several farms in California. Fee Schedule: Free initial conversation/visit; $75/hour for technical assistance, with a sliding scale available for those who need it.
